In Liberia, many children have lost their parents and are no longer in school. Raised by grandparents or distant relatives, they often do not have access to the same opportunities as other children. For some of these children, daily nutritious meals and opportunities to learn are not available. Without consistent support, they can face malnutrition, isolation, and a future with very limited options.

Working alongside our local church partners, we are helping them start a weekly feeding program and reading club for some of these children. Each week, children will gather for a nutritious meal and simple literacy activities, creating a safe space where they are known, valued, and encouraged to learn.

To begin this program, we urgently need to raise $1,250 in startup costs. These funds will allow us to purchase the basic resources needed to launch, including books, teaching materials, food, and basic cooking equipment and serving utensils.

This is a small but meaningful step that can make a lasting difference in the lives of children who have already lost so much.
